Im doing my long tube headers next week and then the first week of December im doing my cam swap to the 228 split duration cam. Im going to be keeping my stock 241 heads for now but i want to make sure i have everything i need when i do the swap. So my question is will i need some bigger injectors? I know the stock injectors will have to be getting close to maxed out by then but i wanted some opinions.

I have a friend with a G5X4 cam and he had the stock 26's but jumped to the 28.8's and they worked fine.

 

The last thing i want to do is lean it out though. Thats why i was wondering. I wonder if i could find a cheaper set of 36 pound injectors.

 

You won't lean it out with the 28.8's if your tune is worth a damn. If you are going the cheap route, do what I did. I got a set of 8 new injectors for a grand prix gtp for 150 bucks. These flow 42 lbs. on an LS1 and you will never have to worry about injectors again.

 

You got them for the supercharged GTP right? What style are the injectors on are cars. I think they are are EV3 style arent they?
