Default knock sensor?

ok my SS has been throwing a knock sensor low voltage code. does that mean its reading engine knock or its not getting a good signal from the sensor? the thing that makes me wonder is one day their wont be a code then the next their will be. What im saying is is that the code doesnt stay on? does anybody have an idea about this?

Just change out the sensor, its not too hard. Mine go out when I wash the engine/engine bay. Just pull the intake off and you will see the two connectors going into the bloack. Lift it up and unscrew the old sensor and pop the new one in.

You need to torque the new sensor correctly or it won't read right. I believe its 15 ft/pounds.
