There is either a Blue or Red O-ring.
They are color coded for a reason, like stated above, if the pickup tube has a recessed area where the o-ring goes you need the thicker RED o-ring. The trucks use this design.

The motor is an lq9 out of my 03 SS pick up and the tube has a recess, but the o-ring that came out of it is a blue-green one. The red one is slightly larger than the one that came out. I never had any issues with oil pressure either. So do I use the red one or go back and get the blue one?
