I know these questions are asked all the time. I have read this sight for 2 or 3 years and I am totally up in the air on what to do for my engine build. I am building a 66 chevy II. It is not a daily driver. It will be for track days both drag and road racing. I want a failrly wild idle. I am open to HP and torque values. I have been thinking around 450RWHP but am open. My budget is from as little as I can get away with to about 8-10K. I had bought an LS6 but traded it away due to the fact I have not been able to work on the car for the last 2 years. But now progress is being made so I am trying to decide which direction to go engine wise. I would appreciate anyones advice and guidance.
