um that looks like some major water contamination in the oil. I know a slight amount of yellow under the cap is "ok," but that isnt slight. I would check your oil and or drain it to see if there is any more in the pan quickly

That is I belive, and I don't pretend to know a lot, but I think that is moisture in the oil. Happens if you do a lot of short trip driving. Might be wrong tho. My old 97 had that start happening when I only worked a few blocks away from where I lived at the time.

that would be moisture from the oil. no big deal. lots of short trips where the motor doesn't get hot enough to burn it off.

that is from short trips for sure. but check the oil it could be bad enough for a headgasket if you see that on the dipstick

Every year about this time several threads like this pop up....cold temps + oil not getting hot enough to burn off condensation.

+ 1 to the short trip thing. Also, give your PCV system a once over, change the PCV valve to make sure its functioning properly.

its just condensation from short trips like you were told above it doesn't mean your oil is bad. just try and take it on a long trip to evaporate that moisture.
