Unhappy Which cam should I go with?

I am looking to get a cam installed in my 99 LS1. I don't know much about cams, but I do know that i want to maintain everyday day drivability and reliability. My car has 41,000 miles and the only mods that i have is Hooker Longtube headers with an X-pipe, high flow airlid, k&n airfilter, smooth bellow, 160 degree thermostat and thats about it. I want to get the most possible horsepower and torque from this cam. Does any one have any suggestions? Also, I live in Dallas area so I am also looking for a place to install this cam and to tune my car afterwards. Can anybody give me a price range of this kind of install. Please help. Any advice you can give me is deeply appreciated.

my suggestions and i dont mean to be rude is read the bazillion threads that deal with cams on the 1st and 2nd page.

and since your in TX (you lucky bitch ) there is no shortage of shops to tune and install your new cam. that is if you dont plan to do it yourself.

and also what tranny? if your an a4 skip the cam and get a new TC.
