Default Milling 243 heads w/ nitrous???

I'm having a set of 243 heads worked over this winter. My plan is to have them milled .030" and use stock .051" gaskets. Should put my CR around 11.2:1.

I've been toying with the idea of spraying the car, but I want to know if my deck height will be too thin to spray.

What is the deck height limit when using nitrous? When do I need to go from bolts to studs?

Educate me please...

N2O can be used with compression ratios as low as 9.5:1 and as high as 15:1 its all about the set up. What you have to make sure is that you are using the correct equipment. Like ARP Studs/bolts. Also that your fuel is correct and you are running the correct timing. Many cars have milled .030 and are using N2O.

Good Luck

Yeah, that kinda seems like a Ft. Wayne thing haha. I've gotten some decent feedback on ls1gto since I'm a n00b when it comes to spray. Any bites on your car yet?

Thanks for the info. I'm going with ARP bolts, 42# injectors, and will be tuning with HP Tuners. Haven't really delved too far into the fuel system yet until I decide which kit I want to go with.

You will be fine. Cometics sprayed with holymar, ARP bolts (trqd properly), a good fuel pump and a dead on tune, you shouldn't have ANY issues.

I figured you'd find me in here. I'm stockpiling parts already for winter. I'll bring those heads in to you ASAP.
