I wouldn't say it was bad, its a manufacturing defect that will not effect its performance IMO. BUTT he should have mentioned that one lobe has a porosity defect and sold it VERY CHEAP. I personally would use it, I've seen similar porosity defects. Roller lifters are much more forgiving than the old flat non roller type. You think GMs suppliers toss every part that has a small defect?
