I know.. I checked that first thing after I saw this thread. Sent him the payment late last week and He sent the cam out on monday. Im in the denial stage right now though, Ill have to hear it from him if this is the same cam or not. My dad about punched me for buying a used cam, guess he'll get to say "told you so".

Easy guys - the bad cam is the first cam I bought. I bought a second one because the first one was damaged. The second one is what I sold. The damaged cam is in my scrap pile.

I wouldn't say it was bad, its a manufacturing defect that will not effect its performance IMO. BUTT he should have mentioned that one lobe has a porosity defect and sold it VERY CHEAP. I personally would use it, I've seen similar porosity defects. Roller lifters are much more forgiving than the old flat non roller type. You think GMs suppliers toss every part that has a small defect?

Still a shady deal.

Sorry to cause a confusion, you can probably see where I was coming from after seeing this thread. I recieved the cam today and it looks good to go. I would do business with atp again, he seemed very nice and honest from our pm's. Sorry again for the confusion.

For those who havent seen it, actually now that I look at it, the lifters arent in the right spot for it to be an LS.

That's one ugly table!
