fuel pressure way to high!! I have a 00T/a with a Holley fuel pump 255. I noticed the fuel system wouldn't stay primed come to find out it was the regulator letting it bypass just wore out. So I tool it out hoping to find a replacement off the shelf but its on order. Anyway I took it off and tape on the back side of the regulator and dinted it inwards increasing the pressure and its running 90lbs at idle. do you think this may be a problem for a few days unti I get the new one in.

I say as long as it runs ok driving easy will be ok. If the pressure was too high the injectors can't open. By the way you can replace your regulator with the regulator off the v6 firebirds. Its the same ome only thiers mounts at the fuel rail and yours mounts in the tank unit.
