I just wanted to warn others if they start to build a 6.0 block. I've seen a few posts where people think the 6.0 cranks are all the same and are also the same as the 5.7. Not true!
*The 6.0 crank is balanced differently that the 5.7 according to ARE.
*99-00 6.0 cranks are longer at the rear flange compared to the 01-02 cranks. I verified this yesterday with my 99 and 01 6.0 cranks. The 99 was like .5" longer and would take major machining to get it down to the right size. The 01-02 6.0 cranks match the 5.7 crank in length.
Just a heads up for those that don't know.

I had a 2001 6.0 crank balanced to 5.7l rods and pistons, the machinist told me that it was so close I could have just put it in. I still payed to balance it, and this close match might not always be the case with every combo.
