Default 5.3 camshaft

i plan on buying a cam for my 5.3 i was either debating on the tr220 or the tr224. which would be best for hp? i have 243 heads so my compression is dropped but i could easily fix that. if necessary i can swap springs but would the yellow ls6 spring be ok with the tr224 .563/.563 cam.

Springs are needed for either cam. PAC 1218's or comp 918's will work well but I prefer the PAC's.

If it is going in the car in sig the 02 up LS6 cam is a pretty good turbo cam. Why change...Turbos like exhaust bias...... You could might get away with LS6 springs but I would still upgrade to better springs...

well it was one thing then another. and i just pissed me off so im going back n/a. but what would be better the tr224 .566/.566 or a custom one? my intake is (suppost to) be to 6200rpm so i wouldnt want to go much over that unless its still going to make power. mods are in my sig.
