head gaskets? i have heard of people having problems with the gm head gaskets sealing, and i forgot the name of the other ones that people said they have problems with, but they are suppose the raise the compression?? im just wondering witch ones are best sealing for my 5.3 heads?? thanks, dwayne

No problems with the GM [graphite] head gaskets leaking. They can be used on all year models
In fact, I too have TEA ported 5.3 L heads with these gaskets.
Get them from SDPC

I have used every gasket out there it seems like and my favorite is the Dana / Victor gaskets. You can get them from a NAPA dealer. I paid $12 each for mine!!! They are a graphite gasket.
