Just to be clear, you have an LS1 block with LS6 intake, 243 LS6 heads and an LS6 cam? Do you know what valve springs are on the heads?

shouldn't change the sound of the car any

probably worth about 15hp due to addded lift

just make sure you have the springs to handle it.

but honestly, a bigger cam will cost the same...and could give 2x the power

The Cam, Heads, intake are all stock from a 2004 zo6 with yellow springs.

As stated, the higher ratio will warrant some better springs. Might not be a bad thing in light of the reputation of the yellow's breaking with age/mileage. A set of PAC 1218's or better yet 1518's will drop in and accommodate the higher ratio rockers.
