rust in cylinder Well, took a head off today and the passenger side rear cylinder has runs in it, bad enough hat it looks like the cylinder might need to be possible bored, i dont have a clue what to do since it was not in my budget to but a 6.0 that needed rebuild....
Who carrys a cheap *** piston that is that of a LQ9 spec?

How long did the car sit? Were the sparkplugs out? If you had a bad headgasket problem and the car sat outside with no plugs in the holes I could see a little rust but enough to have to get it honed would take a while it seems. Can you take a picture of it?
Check ebay for LQ9 pistons. They're almost always on there reasonably priced when I'm looking for blocks.
