oil pressure problem?
oil pressure problem? A couple days ago I noticed my oil pressure was reading a little lower than normal. I normally get 40psi at idle, but now it was reading 30-35psi. I was due for an oil change so I did one; right before i changed the oil I poured some seafoam into the crankcase and just let it idle in my driveway for 20min, shut the engine off for the night, and then changed the oil the next morning. (I originally had Pennzoil Plat 5w30 in the crankcase, and I changed it with the same.) Anyways, i was still getting 30-35psi at idle after I changed the oil. Now a few days later, im getting a just a little under 30psi.
Am i worrying too much? please tell me what you think!

there was nothing on the magnet when i changed the oil. My car still runs fine, idles fine, no noises, no ticking, etc. I just came in for the night and the car was running ~35psi idle and 42-45psi @ 2000rpm. I would like to think im getting worked up over nothing.
5.5 qts of Pennzoil Plat 5w30. The level on the dipstick is perfect and the level hasnt changed.
The oil pressure fluctuates. Even at a steady rpm, one second it will be at 35 psi, 20 sec late it at 50psi. maybe the OPSU is out of whack?
