Gt11 cam
This may have been covered before but I could not find nothing on it.My wife has been driving the Corvette and she doesn't like the lope of the cam(ls1 camshaft 232/240 .609"/.623" 115 lsa)that is in the car and tells me the car shakes too much. I am thinking of changing the cam to the GT11 cam. Is the GT11(215/231, .631"/.644", on a 118 LSA) a good blower cam? I had the GT2-3 in the LS1 I took out and really liked it . Would I gain or lose HP with this cam? My motor in the vette is a LS7 with CNC LS7 heads and a F1 blower

I'm no cam expert but that seem like it would be quite a lose in HR. If anything you need to get one custom spec since you have a blower. But if not then you need to look at the tsp 224, tsp 228, VRX 2 or 3 or a 224/228 cam. But it does seem that GT11 would be a good blower cam but you may want to get a hold of or talk to PatG or Predator-Z and let them know your goals or idle quality, basically all the details and I know Predator-Z could really help with that and point you in the right direction.

Go buy her something else to drive around town and you will come out ahead in the long run. Something new, nice, little and drive the vette. If she won't listen to you play her my favorite redneck song...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSNrbjiDaMg
