i have a 5.3 long block im planning on putting the 5.3 head on my trans am. Im wondering that all has to be changed. I already have a 230 224 111LSA tr cam so i would just use the springs off of my heads on the 5.3s do i need to change valve size or retainers or anything like that

 

For what I know is that u need to change the intake valves (2.00 or used the stock from the heads that come on ur trans am....for it to work better than ur stock heads even better ported
