roller rockers worth the money??

roller rockers worth the money?? i have 400 bucks to spend. i was looking at the harland sharp or scorpion roller rockers.. but are they even worth the effort?
stay away from scorpions!! lifetime warranty that your almost guarenteed to use every two weeks haha....
it depends on your mods honestly... im running them, yella terra shaft mount, it makes for a very quiet and stable valvetrain even though i have a very large cam... check out yella terra, superior to the two you listed for about the same price...
i dont think youll gain or loose power... if your worried about breakage, guide wear, or noise, then get the rollers....

As far as I know they dont really make a difference as the stock rockers were designed very well on the LS motors. Depending on your setup im almost sure you could spend the money better elsewhere IMHO.

well im running a 224/228 .581/.588 cam, with .030 shaved 243 heads, with a fast 90/90, stainless 1 3/4 longtubes with a 3 1/2 cutout, and a vig 3600. i dont want nitrous at the monent. i was just looking for another decent power adder.
With 400 I would save a few more and get a meziere electric water pump. That will free up about 10+ hp.
If you worried about your rockers coming apart i would just do the trunion upgrade from comp cams. Rockers are going to net you next to nothing for hp. You have an underdrive pulley yet?

I wouldn't do HS or Scorpion. I would do Yella Terra. Here is what you will get:
Nice narrow wipe pattern (if set up correctly)
Nice quality rocker.
Here is what you won't get:
An appreciable power increase. You may get 2-3 hp with your setup. Bottom line, if you are buying them for a good valve train geometry then they are a nice mod. If you are buying because you want more hp, you're fishing in the wrong pond and the money is better spent elsewhere.

i dont know about better cooling and more power from electric pumps.. ive heard theres no substantial increase in power but there is a noticeable increase in temps because of how slow the pump moves water.... but what can i say, ive never bought one.....
I have considered an EWP several times. Two things I don't like, they pump less fluid then stock above around 5,500 RPM and I have seen too many guys get stuck when they break down.
Just saw you have a turbo setup, not sure I would go with EWP.

im changing back to n/a. so i guess the only other thing is nitrous???
How much power are you looking for and what are you trying to do with the motor. I am confused because you want to spend $400 for roller rockers and a minimum power gain yet are removing the turbo's.

There is no need to go to roller rockers unless you have heads with bronze valve guides and big lift. Rockers, no matter if they say light weight are heavier than stock and will induce valve float at high rpm's if a stiffer spring isn't used to combat them. Also a little known fact is that you typically lose 10+rwhp going to a roller rocker with the same ratio as the stockers.
Yella Terra is your best bet if you are set on getting some rockers (check our site for the best pricing on them), but you can probably spend your $400 on something else to get more power at the current point you're at with a mild cam like you have. Maybe consider an underdrive crank pulley, $180 and 6-10 rwhp.

please explain yourself. you seem enlightened on a subject noone else in the world knows about...... rollers are typically stiffer and bend less, therefore giving you more lift than the stock rocker was able to give before, thats where you 10+ power comes from, not 10-....
