Default Break in question

I just got a 404 stroker from texas speed, im puttin a novi 1200 on it also. How should i go about breaking it in and tuning it? I know it says to do a 90min various rpm with break in oil, but after that should i go strait to the dyno or cruise low rpms for like a thousand miles? this is my first brand new performance motor so any help would be great. thanks

Id suggest the joe gibbs break in oil. On my personal LS2 it saw about 100 (one hundred) miles total before hitting the rollers and flogging it.

ya texas speed hooked it up with 12 quarts of the break in oil. Im just wondering how long i should let it break in before i let the tuner pound on it. also will it hurt it at all driving it with the stock tune?
