Default Cylinder Heads question

I am looking into cylinder heads and the patriot LS6 heads are within my budget (at the moment).

Which of these is good for a daily driven car with 224/224 to 232/234 cam?

I bought the Stage II 59cc heads to go with my TR 230/224 .575/.563 111LSA cam. I haven't installed them yet, still collecting parts. Call Thunder Racing, they sell 224/224 cam and also the Patriot heads.

I'm positive that the cam I am purchasing has similar specs to that of the MS3.

Be very careful with your cylinder head selection. Just because your getting a low cost cylinder head doesn't mean you can't get good quality. If you buy those used heads you really need to make sure you have them inspected by a head specialist & flow tested to make sure your getting something worth any $$ at all...

Give us a call whatever you decide, we can help you select a camshaft based off the cylinder head you select.

I recently (Christmas) purchased a set on ebay that were rebuilt for around 900 shipped and no sales tax, it was a great deal, but I took a big chance, doing a head swap is a big involved job for someone working on jackstands in ones garage.. I had to have my timing retarded 2 degrees to offset the increased compression. Are you going to be able to commit to running only 93 octane fuel? My heads were unmilled at 64cc and it was banging off the rev limiters. Used heads are a gamble. I would absolutely have the springs checked and a vacuum test to make sure they are not cracked.

Thanks for the heads up. The guy I am buying them from owns a performance shop that is well known and extremely reputable here in NY. The heads are currently at a machine shop being inspected.
