Default Help me identify this cam!

So i need to find the specs on this cam and i have the numbers on the end of it and was hoping someone here could help me out...

numbers are -

37222r13671r - on the top half

and

cc z92112 ls1 - on the bottom.

Im assuming its a Comp cam by the CC? Other than that i have no clue...

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

you could send it to someone like Geoff at EPS who has a cam pro and they can tell you what it is.

3722 = Intake XE-R Lobe 224 @ .050" .547" lift with 1.6 rocker ratio

Can't find anything on the other lobe? You sure you wrote the numbers down right?

cc z92112 ls1 might mean Comp Cams 292 cam on a 112 LSA.

looked at it again and the top says 3722R13671R then right under that it says HR 13+2

then on the bottom it says CC Z9212 LS1

that stuff is all scribed in by hand then there is 2871 E scribed in by a machine with perfect font, the 2871 E is upside down compared to the rest of the information...

Like i said before i know the guy who originally had this cam and sold it to the kid i bought it from over 2 years ago and he said he cant remember exactly the specs but he said is preety sure it was between an LS6 cam and the 224/224 cam...

That's not a "1" in the middle, it is a "/"(3722R/3671R)
3722R = 224@0.050" - .581" lift
3671R = I also cannot find this lobe in Comps master lobe list
HR = Hydraulic roller
13+2 = 113 Lobe Seperation/111 Intake Center Line

Your right the more i look at it your correct and its a "/"

The 224 .581 def sounds right as that would be right around the 224/224 cam.

The 3671R is for sure what the second number is though... So atleast now i know half the cam lol, if anyone can help with that second part i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks very much 5.3Jimmy btw!

The top half are the lobe identification numbers like everyone has mentioned. I too cant find the exhaust lobe with the number you gave. Could it be any different number after the "/"??

The lower numbers are the serial numbers to your specific cam. Call Comp Cams tomorrow and have them look up the specs of the cam using the serial number.

Comp most likely recommends the 26921 spring kit but you could use any of the commonly used dual spring kits for. 650 lift. Patriot golds, Texas speed/PRC, PAC, or Brian Tooley racing would all work fine.
