Default cam ?

I'm putting a ls1 into my 89 camaro. I want to put a cam in it before i put the engine in. I already have a 224/232 .610/.595 110lsa cam and springs that i bought and was going to use on another project. Will this cam be a waste to put in or should i just buy another cam? Car has LT, 241 heads, M6, ls1 intake. Mostly street car with some track time

Looks like a good street cam and throw some nitrous on it at the track it'll wake it up.

with an lsa like 110 it seems like it would be idiling awfully rough for the street unless you raise the idle. I know my 228 with 112 lsa sure does idle rough even with a tune.

It will idle a little rough but nothing to worry about. My friend has a 110 on his street car and it idles fine.

would i be better off getting a more common cam. I havent found anyone with a cam like this. The cam was custom ground for a carb'd 5.3. I'd like to make atleast 350rwhp.

As mentioned,

If you have it anyway, It'll be fine, but with a ragged idle that some like anyway.
