If I changed anything on your setup, the FIRST THING I would change is the converter, no ifs ands or buts. It is just too small to get the job done. You will get more of an ET reduction with that change than anything else you could change on your setup.

Without changing the stall, I would say a 228 duration camshaft MAXIMUM, and use the LS6 intake with it.
PTV is piston to valve clearance, meaning when the valve is at full lift... how much clearance there is between the valve and piston.
He is correct. I was giving something you would do custom. I think the Torquer V.2 has similar specs, would have to check though.
^^^^^Is correct, if you don't change your converter that would be the MAX on the cam I would do. Honestly, I wouldn't even go through the hassle of changing it at all if you keep that small converter in there.

so maybe look for a 228R or 233/239 right instead MS3 and change my 222/224 actually?
thanks...
The ms3 will clear stock ls6 heads or PRC stg 1 ls6 heads without a problem.
Most definitely. With your intake, steer clear up the top end screamer cams (ms3/ms4/trex/polluter/etc etc). Stick with something that does not have to rev so high. A 228R would match perfectly with ls6 intake 373s some stock ls6 heads (or ported) and a 3800 or so converter.

Exactly right. Again, if you decide to change something, change your converter.. Then you can go with a bit larger cam and you will really be seeing a nice performance gain. You could expect it to knock off somewhere in the .6-.9 range on ET and probably 4 MPH. Just changing your cam to a 228 you might see a .2-.4 ET reduction and 2 MPH
