Default 98 ls1 block will it handle 750hp

Im thinkin about using my 98 ls1 block to build a 550hp motor and mabe spray 150 shot. It would be an 383 stroker all forged bottom end. It will only see the 150 shot at the track and thats probly less than 10 times a year.

How many miles on the block? It can be done but I would look into the cost of a new block maybe even a little more cubes. Also you can sell your old block to offset some of the cost.

I would use an LS1 block...just not a 98 LS1 block.
