Default Best header gasket?

I have an 01 Z28 with Headman headers and some nasty header gasket leaks.

The headers came on the car when I got it, and the leaks have gotten progressively worse. I obviously don't want to have to do this install more than once.

So what would be the best gasket?

From what ive read the stock MLS gaskets are great.

I used the thick gaskets that came with my hookers and they are good so far. I used them b/c I fucked one side of my stockers up when I took the manifold off.

Get the GM MLS ones. Been almost three years but IIRC I paid less than $20 for my set....

GM MLS are the way to go unless you need a custom size. Never had an issue with them. There are other materials out there though that work very good as well though.

Make sure the flange surface is true and flat. Use the gm mls gaskets as well.

look up remflex gaskets. they are a company in washington. best gaskets i have ever used and will never use any other gasket. just google search it and it will pop up. oh and they guarantee no leaks ever even if the flange is slightly bent or your money back.
