651/657 239/247@.050 on a 109 LSA

Taking this cam out of my stock bottom end LS1 and putting it in a 6.0L stroker. What CR would be the best for this camshaft?, using pump gas and maybe a some additives.

I'd shoot for 11:1-11.5:1 static compression

trex is the same size. Duration is what causes p to v problems, not lift.

Lift isn't as high, but I just pulled my 238/242 .595/.595 112 lsa cam out of my stock cube 346 and dropped it in my 404 stoker... 1st test fire last night and it actually idled pretty good at. 850 rpms

No #'s on this cam in the old motor... spun a rod bearing as I was backing it out of the trailer at the track. That short block had 160k on it so it was time I guess.
New motor will be a forged 402.

Wonder if the PRC Stg 2.5 5.3L heads would do well with this combo??

Lots of overlap on that cam, are you gonna use a single plane intake to take advantage of that?? That is the same duration and one more degree of LSA than Pat G spec'd for my 421" single plane motor.

It did not clear the hood on my GTO (I need a small scoop), but I atribute the great idle to the Edlebrock Proflo XT I went with. I don't know what it would take to get it under the cowl of an F-body though
