Default LQ4/t56 quick question, couldnt find the answer anywhere.

iam swapping a lq4 into my 90 firebird, with a t56 as well now the lq4 is a 99. So i have been told that the t56 wont bolt up to the rear of the crank. What if i put a ls1 crank in it? would that solve the issue being presented? is there anything else besides drop the new crank in and then continue on? or what thanks ya guys any info would help

Correct, you need the later crank with shorter rear flange to bolt up to a t56. If you can find a '01-04 lq4 crank it'll drop right in. Otherwise you'll have to re-balance the crank for the lq4 bob weight.
