Replacing rack and pinion, whats the difference

so i was looking at O'Rielly rack and pinion. the look exactly the same and the guy at the store could not tell me the difference. could anyone tell me which one comes on my car already?

i just want to get an exact replacement for the one i have so it handles the same, also can anyone tell me y one is so much more expensive then the other?

Im guessing the F number is the RPO code...im curious as to what the difference is too

The main difference in the ones available is the turns lock to lock. Yours should be something like 2.3-2.4. If you decide to get one of these, check the turns lock to lock on the unit before you leave the store. I have seen two different racks in stores with and without the firm ride, la la la and both were WRONG. Also the tie rods were different lengths. I ended up getting one off a totaled 14k mi Z28 that was exactly the same. Beware the parts stores on this one.
