Default 4.8 liter heads differences?

I heard that ARE has new 4.8 liter heads they are selling. Please no ARE bashing, try to keep this on topic. My question is what is the difference between a ported set of 4.8s verses 5.3s or LS1s? I always thought 5.3s just allowed a higher compression without as much milling as compared to normal LS1 heads. Do the 4.8s allow a even higher compression ratio with less milling?

the 4.8's are the same as the 5.3's

and they all for slightly higher comp over the 5.7's without loss in pv clearance

4.8 are identical to 5.3L. They will raise the compression to 10.8 to 1 without milling. That means more p to v clearance.
