Default Upgrades!!!

What HP/times gains do you think ill see. I totalled my Z. Purchased a donor car that has a full suspension setup. The old z was wrecked before it saw the track.

Old Z PP S2 heads, Trex cam, stock 98 injectors, LT headers 3"ORY manual cutout, Borla exhaust, 4.56 gears, T56 trans, Front and rear spring upgrades, LS6 intake, SS 10 spokes. 9.5 rear tires and 4.56 gears = NO traction EVER...

to this

Same internals, with a fast 90/90, UD pulley, 42lb injectors, electric cutout( I know no difference in performance there), This will be tuned, rear BMR control arms, panhard bar, and adjustable torque arm, SLP driveshaft saftey loop, new racetronix fuel pump, and SFCs, TThrust 2's (11" rears), FRTA the two piece. and now 4.10 gears.

One thing before when I scanned the old setup it was pretty lean and injecter duty was over 100 percent at wot. I think the highest I saw was 119 percent!

In its old form the car was a BEAST!!! Third gear felt like the car was floating from 3500 or so on up.

with the larger injectors it'll run alot better and you might pick up some power since your sending more fuel

Looks like you should see a night and day difference. More power and getting it to the ground, sweet! What is the duty cycle of the 42's?

I havent fired it up yet. The swap is supposed to be done by next friday. With the inline fuel pump and the 42s im sure that will be enough for this one. I am hoping I dont lose much going from the 4.56s to the 4.10s that cam wakes up 3500 or higher.

Ill have pics starting Monday. I am not sure. I have been waiting for about 4 years for my c5 408 Direct port project which will be done hopefully Wed or at least ready to tune and drive on Wed.

One would think I would be more stoked about that project but for some reason I am more excited about this Z.

The Z should be at the same point on Friday.

I think pics of the vette are in the sig.
