Default Electrical Trouble 2002 SS Camaro

Ok so at first my car randomly started dying when i would slow down on the road, but has now progressed to if i am not giving it any gas at all, it will die. It seems as though the amount of power in the car at the time is proportional to the rpm at the time. All of my electricity in the car dies and will take a jump but will not stay with power. I have already gotten a new battery recently and the battery is good... any ideas? Thanks guys.

have you done any recent mods prior to the problems starting? check the signal wire to the alternator (single red wire that plugs in) make sure it hasent been pulled out slightly or all the way. check all your power wires under the hood, make sure nothing is grounding out. also make sure all your ground wires are connected properly. especially the ones on the back of the heads. (ask me how I know that one)

is the belt still good? any slippage goin on? are the pulleys on tight? you didn't by chance change the alternator pulley and not have it on tight enough?
if worst comes to worst.. scrap it.. buy a 383.. call it a good time

sounds like an alternator to me. autozone is a parts store! they are not mechanics.

u need to do a voltage drop test, go to a chevy dealership if u cant figure it out.
I Gurantee they Will!
