I just got a Melling 10295 and the hole where the oil feeds into the block is oval shaped. At the widest point of this hole, it is even .020 less than the diameter of the hole in the stock pump. Is this intended to be this way or do I have a defect? I really need to get this back together tonight.
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
