Default ROCKER ?

I am looking at getting the TR 224/224 .563/.563 112lsa cam and it says not to use 1.8 rockers with it. So i was wondering what the stock rocker size is and if i would have to upgrade it. I also have a ? about the emissions tests in Illinois, if the car would have a hard time passing or if their is a way to tell the computer that its all good.

As far as emissions go...if you go with the TR 224...you can pass emissions with a little LS1 edit and to the Illinois air team

From what I have read, if you go with the MTI T1 cam, you shouldn't have any trouble at all passing emissions.

Well from looking at your location, you are pretty close to speed inc. From what I hear, they are great at cam installs. You should look them up and talk with them about the tuning issues you have

Stock rockers on the LS1 are a 1.7 ratio. From what I've heard, you can pass with the 224 with some PCM editing, but you will have a zero margin left so you might want to look at some slightly smaller cams. I'm in the same boat and I think I'll try a MTI C1 (Hammer cam.) Also, it seems like a dead give-away to me when you pull up to the inspection station with this huge lope!
