FI vs new LS6
I'm faced with a delima. I've been wanting more low/mid power out of my car, but was hesitant to do that for fear of busting my transmission. Well that happened on it's own in december and I had it re-built with heavy duty components and a shift kit

Recently i've come across 2 options both are roughly the same price when installed (~$5K)
1) A brand new 0 miles LS6 from SDPC I would carry over my 1.8 rockers, and add an underdrive pulley and possibly a mild cam. Would give me solid power and a fresh motor.
2) A Centrifigual supercharger setup my mechanic removed from a ZO6 that's in perfect working order. I believe it's an entry-level A&A setup. Would give me all the power i would ever want in a daily driver
My goals: reliable power for a daily driver. This car will spend most of it's life on the road, very little (if any) time on the track.
Thoughts?
I currently make about 330 rwhp on my current setup with a really stable at ~325 torque curve all the way from 3000-5000 rpm. How would an LS6 affect my power and where would the most notable changes be?
I love Twin screws with a passion so I would stick with the LS6 and have a great strong motor then someday shove that on there. The LS6 is a great motor and I would be very jealous..

I personaly would never buy a new gmpp motor because I can assemble one for either cheaper or with better parts for the money. If I built the engine myself starting with a 6.0 short block, I would have close to a 500rwhp engine. Buy an LS engine and you have something like 370rwhp.

I would go with the new LS6 motor.
While the blower would be nice, the boost would get addictive (for me atleast) and that motor in your car now would be on borrwed time, IMO.

my reasoning for forging it and running dish-top pistons is simple:less compression more boost. although i wont be running 9.1 comp, the 10.3.1 will handle the boost perfectly and if i need to drop the compression a bit more i can also get a set of 317 heads for cheap
build a boost motor for the same price as the LS6. dilemma solved.
