missed shift?

missed shift? The last day before commerce closed I missed shift from 3rd to 4th and went into 2nd. ASR light came on and the back end hope around, rpm went up to almost 7K. Since that I been driving it, shifting 5.5K and still pulls hard. Feels like nothing is wrong. Didn't check for a soft code, no SES light no noise from under the hood. Sounds and drives fine. Do u think I still bent a push rod? Just starting to worry it's been almost two months since this happen. What do u think?

I hear the same noise on start up in the morings like little bro's 02 z28. Do any of you hear that noise in the morings. sounds like piston slap noise is gone by warm up but sometimes u can slightly hear it sometimes at idle.

your car is fine,and you got luckey. i did the same thing once and everything was ok,but i did it a second time and the motor was done. i spun two barrings and broke a piston,it cost me near $5,000 bucks to get a new motor with forged parts. for this reason i wish i bought an auto.
