Were the heads built for that cam? If not, you will run into PTV issues. Give us a call and we'll see what we can come up with for you.

I was told numerous times that those heads were a great match up for that cam.

It's not that they aren't a great match up..they are. But what Jon is saying is, unless those particular heads were made to match up with the MS3 cam, your PTV clearance will be shot. They recess the valves so that the cam functions normally without any consequences.

We can tell you all day that it will fit on here. I dont think that is what you want though. Only way to know 100% is to measure. Same with any head/cam combo. What size cc do those heads have?

I usually DD my SS and I have a MS3 on a 112LSA. I LOVE it....and gas mileage isnt all that bad when your taking it easy...I also have 41lb injectors because I maxed the stockers at 5800rpms +...so you might need new injectors also.

I drove the car with the ms3 on the streets everyday for a year straight with 3.42's. I even drove down too north myrtle beach and back (1700 mile round trip) without a single issue...however, Now I have 4.10's and it even made the car easier to drive. I love the feeling of the way this cam's power smacks you in the face....if you can get the power down on the streets!

as long as your heads are OK and like others have mentioned about checking the PTV clearence, I wouldnt think twice about that cam but what do I know, Im just a lousy MS3 owner!

He's a 6spd. And if you're an auto, you're going to want a stall.

yeah, I have a truckload of pictures on tap that are always begging to be used in these situations. Adds thread flavor. LOL Hawaiian Punch in this instance.
