Default 5.3 Rebuild

Hello,
I have a 5.3 that I picked up and have on the engine stand. It’s not going in the car anytime to soon so I thought I would replace the Rod and main bearings and the piston rings while on the stand. The motor had just over a 100,000 miles on it and no problems. I took the oil pan off and did notice that the third and fourth pistons from the front had some very, very small amount of side play. So to my questions is this side play normal? The engine did not make any noise when it was in the truck. 2nd question how do I make sure to get the right size rod and main bearings? Do I just get stock size replacements since there was nothing wrong with the motor other than the small amount of side play? Any recommendations on piston rings? This is not going to be a big build just tie this 5.3 to my t56 and a ASA cam, maybe some nitrous down the road. It’s really just a weekend cruiser.

Thanks for the help!
