No oil pressure
See if this sounds right
Good oil pressure for 100 or so miles, then slowly drops down, not really respective to engine speed, temp or anything else
Eventually on the return home it hits zero. I assume bad sender because any oil failure Ive ever seen was immediate good to bad pressure with spun bearings. Engine sounds fine
Unplugged the coils and spun it over to visually check for pressure coming from the sender's hole (removed). Nothing
A quick google search says this is common with the bypass getting stuck in the open position and a pump replacement will likely fix the issue assuming no internal damage from no oil
Ive got no obvious bad sounds from the engine, does this seem feasible?
The engine is not new, rebuilt or anything. I did not leave out any galley plugs etc
