Oil pump pressure I have a question about upgrading the oil pump in my 408, I bought a new one and and stiffer spring to go in it because I was told that is the right thing to do. My stock LS1 held over 60 lbs and The rule of thumb for the old school SBC and BBC was 10lbs of pressure for every 1,000 RPM anything more than that and you were wasting horsepower. Can someone explain to me if the oil passages are different in the ls1's or mabye they just like more than the old motors
