new engine?

just a few quick ?'s, i just did an lq4 swap on my car with a pretty decent sized cam 227/235 621/614 110+4 lsa and need a tuning to say the least. is it safe to get a dyno tune with a freshly rebuilt engine?

Get a few heat cycles on the engine, change the oil/filter and get it tuned. I built my moter and put a blower on it and had it dynoed right after the final touches. Also change the fuel filter if you havent recently.
