Valve Cover Breathers ?

Valve Cover Breathers ? I am looking at installing one. Do you still need the PVC system or can you take the PVC system off and plug off everything. I would like to completely eliminate the possibility of any oil going back into the intake.
Can you install two, one on each side, or only one on the driver’s side?
I have a 98 by the way. I know the 98s have different valve covers.

The breather will not work properly the PCV. They can't be used together, or in other words, the breather will try to just become another fresh air intake with the PCV sucking on it.
Just plug off the PCV line at the intake and then put on a breather if you just want to vent to atmosphere.
However, after experimenting with various systems, I just kept my Vertical PCV which keeps it legal and works fine.
