Default 98 ls1 block the same as 02?

So i pulled out the engine yesterday to find the number 6 rod snapped and a little pin hole in the drivers side of the block. Found a 98 engine out of a z28 for a deal-i know i would have tpo use my heads (which are okay) and intake, but is there any difference on the cam, sensors, etc???

It will work, but be aware of the 98 rod bolts. While you got the motor out drop the pan and replace them.
