Almost everytime I drive the firehawk the transmission does not want to get into second gear. For it to get in second gear i have to move the shifter left to right like 5 times in neutral and it gets in. Not easily. Whats wrong. Does it need a new trans? Or is there something stuck in gear.

Really Ima mechanic for like 5 years but I've never seen this. I asked my dad he started the buisness he said that it might need gears. It grinds ALOT when trying to get into other gears, but in second gear its hard to get in to. Should I replace the gears. I wanna put some 4.56 gears in it anyways. Or should I replace the clutch.

sounds like a clutch or hydrolic issue, trans might also need syncroizer hubs replaced along with new blocker rings. If your pulling the trans to replace the clutch I would crack it open and see what it looks like while its out. there not that hard to rebuild. If your a mechanic you will fly thru it easily
