Default Ls1 Break in

From what I've read, to seat the rings properly I need to 'load' the engine. My questions are, how long do I let it idle before I start driving it for the first time? I load it by rapidly accelerating and decelerating while keeping it in gear and letting the engine wind down right? It has an Ms4 by the way, thanks guys

Yeah, from what I have read, what you do not want to do is sustain it at a steady unchanging RPM, lotta folks think that they will just put it on the Interstate and set the cruise control,, thats not what you want, its about changing Rpms and engine loads. From everything I have read.
