Just wondering, my 2002 z28 has an ls6 block, which isnt unheard of but i got looking at the heads today and it has 243 castings. My question is would these be the stock heads. From my understanding 243s came on ls6 corvettes. Also if these are stock would i have ls6 springs? Thanks in advance

 

243 castings NEVER came on an f-body. An 02 should have 241's.

I believe some f-bodies did come with ls6 block, not many. i would need to check my manual on this when I get home. if your did come ls6 from factory then it would also have the 243 heads which are ls6 heads. I'll check...
