Ring gap on stock piston???

Going to replace the rings and want to get some ideas on what the stock ring gaps are on the rings. The car will see LOTS of nitrous on a stock piston and im cuious to see what folks are using as ring gaps. I know the 02 piston rings are gapped differently then my 01 pistons. Got a buddy with the same setup as mine to the T on the same dry nitrous pill and he keeps blowing the ring lands where the rings are collapsing together. Im open for some serious tech info on this. Come with the ideas. I've seen these stock pistons hold alot of abuse with a well maintained A/F ratio on the hose.

Any ring gap info will do. Or perhaps has the stock ring gap specs and ill open em up from there.

That is a good bit of info you posted Eller. Onlt problem is that is the stock specs and I was looking more for how much to file my rings down to allow more cylinder pressure under heavy doses of nitrous. I want to open the gaps up a tad but im looking for a good number to file away so to speak. Couple thousandths, etc...
