Default random revs after cam?

My car mostly when cold but has does it a couple times when warm will sometimes randomly revs up to about 1500 rpms with car in neutral or clutch engaged and just hangs there for about 30 seconds and then will just go back to regular idle at 700-800 rpms. I have a 2002 z28 M6 with Intake , exhaust , LT. ORY cutout , and just installed a comp 224/230 114 dynotuned about a week or so ago and that is when it started to do this random rev every so often. thanks for the help

Sounds like something in the tune is a little off. Where did you have it tuned? Or was it untuned and just run on a dyno? Sounds like cam surge to an extent. Or, you have a VAC leak somewhere. Check your brake booster hose and make sure it doesnt have a split in it or if it is coming undone partially.

Ya it was installed and dynotuned by lethal performance. 397rwhp with bolt ons . I was pretty happy considering the cam size

I ran about that same cam. Nothing wrong with it at all. Nice mild cam.
