i have a 98 ls1 block and want to know if there is machine work that can be done to improve oiling or internal plumbing that can be added to help out oiliing issues with the early blocks. i know 5.0L ford guys run copper tubing in the valley to help trasfer oil. has anyone done this with the ls1?

 

The LS blocks are very touchy when you mess with them. You can't try to compare a 5.0 mustang block to an LS block and what can be done 2 different animals.

 

no one knows of any block mods?
