Default ls6 intake swap

I am wondering if i was changing a ls1 intake to ls6 intake the tube that goes in the ls1 intake what do u do with it ?i figured block it off but will that throw a code?

If you are talking about the egr tube, then yes you will need a block off plate. I may throw a SES code but can be tuned out.

if its for the 2001 ss in your sig, it should already have an ls6 intake on it.

Wasn't EGR removed for '01/'02 model years?

Remove the EGR tube and the EGR pump, then block the inlet into the manifold/header with a blockoff plate and a gasket. Finally just get the codes tuned out.
