the number on the set of heads i got are 806 does anyone no if they are better than 241 heads any help please.

 

No. They were on the 98's and 99-00 had 853 and 01-02 had 241 heads

 

thanks man. so i take it they are not any count???

 

they are good heads, no worse than any other LS1 head, just a different method of casting that scares everyone away. the only thing that makes the less deseriable is the perimiter bolt valve covers that were only used on 97-98 vette and 98 F-body.


241's also came on some 99's.

 

Are they ported? Cause they will flow just as well as a 853, 241 that has been ported. Its the same program.
